Appropriate dress that is comfortable enables the student to participate and concentrate on learning. &#8220;Special clothes for a special place&#8221; supports the behavior and academic expectations at our school.</div>

<div>The following list of appropriate colors and styles at Breakthrough Magnet School:</div>
<div><strong>Shirts</strong>: Breakthrough logo school shirts that are an appropriate fit. Shirts must be tucked into pants. Any shirt worn under a BMS logo shirt must be white or cobalt blue with no logo.</div>
<div><strong>Pants</strong>: Cotton or corduroy. Navy, black, or khaki. Belts must also be worn at all times.</div>
<div><strong>Shorts</strong>: Long, Bermuda style. Navy, black, or khaki.</div>
<div><strong>Skirts</strong>: Plain front or pleated. Navy, black, or khaki. Solid colored. Length must be at least just above the knee despite wearing leggings.</div>
<div><strong>Jumpers</strong>: Cotton or corduroy. Navy, black, or khaki.</div>
<div><strong>Shoes</strong>: Sneakers, shoes, or boots must have rubber soles. <strong>ALL BREAKTHROUGH STUDENTS MUST HAVE APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS.  Any other footwear is not allowed.</strong></div>
