The mission of the Breakthrough Magnet School is for staff, families, and community members of diverse backgrounds to work in partnership, developing students as models of outstanding character. Students learn problem solving, responsible choice making, and the value of keeping their agreements. Character development permeates our broad-based instruction, producing students with academic rigor, aesthetic appreciation, technological expertise, and physical expressiveness aimed at contributing to others.  At Breakthrough we celebrate our global community and our students’ lives are marked by vitality, effectiveness, health, and well being.

Visitor’s Day at Breakthrough is every Friday morning from 8:20-10:30, including being in the audience for our weekly Community Meeting, a school tour with our specially trained tour guides and Q & A with a BMS administrator. Please contact Ms. Soto Gomez at 695-5700 for more information.
